Why Do We Celebrate Eid?

  • Completion of Ramadan: Eid al-Fitr is a reward from Allah for those who observed Ramadan with patience and devotion.
  • Gratitude to Allah: Muslims express gratitude for the strength to complete fasting and seek forgiveness for their shortcomings.
  • Zakat al-Fitr: Before Eid prayers, Muslims give Zakat al-Fitr (charity) to the less fortunate, ensuring everyone can celebrate joyfully.
  • Unity & Brotherhood: It is a time for families and friends to gather, share meals, and spread love.
